The week before the season the club feels the need for a bit of pre season outdoor practice and what better way to do so than with a couple of teams comprising of home players taking to the field of our hallowed Blackfyne turf!! Format of the game is to be arranged closer to the time. 

For entertainment afterwards we are delighted to be able to announce that we will be welcoming the brilliant local band that is The Mitch Laddie Band. Mitch, Matt and Rhian form a brilliant trio who excel at some the finest blues music in the area and further afield. They are always in high demand with tours taking them all over the UK as well as overseas with them doing a tour of Spanish soil in late March and early April. They always come highly recommended so we are delighted to be able to welcome them to the clubhouse at Consett CC.
