Hello everyone!

The cricket season is finally upon us, or so we thought anyway. The top brass in charge of our new league last night decided to postpone the first weekend of the season which was due to be this weekend so our new start date - weather permitting is now 21st April. 

For the past few seasons we have ran a scheme which has worked extremely well and that is where people have sponsored individual games throughout the season. This applies to all home fixtures for all four of our senior teams. Some of the games have already been snapped up and sponsored as well as Hope Street Garage being kind enough to sponsor the 3rd X1 for the duration of the season as they did in 2017. Of course we would love to be able to get every single game sponsored in some way. You can choose to sponsor a full match which is £100 and helps us to cover the costs of match balls and umpires, by doing so a friend and yourself will be invited to come and join the players for tea as well as receiving a couple of beverages of your choice from the bar to enhance your spectator experience on the day. 

Part sponsorship of the games is also available should you feel that is more to your liking, perhaps you would just like to sponsor the match ball which is available to be done for just £35 - yes they're expensive before you ask! Or if you want to be somewhere in the middle you could sponsor the umpires for the day for £75 - yes they're expensive too regardless of your opinions on how much use they are on any given day.
