Hello everyone.

After a false start with our initial planned date we are now able to go ahead, at the request of Alan's family and host the originally planned charity evening. 

On the night we will have a T20 match played between ourselves and Shotley Bridge commencing around 5.30pm. Players past and present will feature in the game with Andrew Waters captaining the Consett select X1. The marquee will be used for entertaining purposes after the game and we will be hosting a charity auction with some excellent sporting items available as well as raffles for other sporting memorabilia. We do ask that you dig deep as all proceeds will be donated to Macmillan, a very worthy cause. After the game we will also have a DJ playing some music in the marquee with entertainment allowed until 10.30.

We have a licensed bar until 11pm downstairs and will have both upstairs and downstairs bars open throughout the event to minimise the time spent waiting for drinks. Walk up service is now available from both bars and we accept both cash and card payments. We do ask that both during and at the end of the evening that people make consideration for our neighbours on Hope Street and that people's conduct reflects this. 

We look forward to welcoming as many faces past and present to the club to help Alan's family and friends come together for a much delayed celebration of all the excellent things he did for us as a club and in the wider community.
