After doing a fantastic job of staging the event in 2015 which was eventually won by Mitford, South Shields staged the event in 2016 which saw our very own Academicals team finish as runners up in the competition after losing to the highly talented Kimblesworth in the final. However 2017 sees the competition return to Balckfyne and is staged on the August Bank Holiday Monday. Could our very own Academicals perhaps go one better and win the competition this time around? Anyone who was in attendance at the 2015 day at Balckfyne will know what a fantastic day was had by all. Further details of events on the day will be to come but expect a BBQ, plenty drinks from the bar consumed and maybe a few inflatables too! Team line ups will be announced much closer to the time given we currently don't even know what the first round draw is!!
