The club AGM will take place on Thursday 11th December. All paid up club members are welcome and encouraged to attend. There will be a review of the previous 12 months activities on and off the field as well as what is proposed going forward for the club, via summaries from the Chair, Secretary and Treasurer.
At the AGM, we elect officers to stand for roles for the following 12 months and are always keen to welcome new faces into these roles.
To be in consideration for a post election, you must have yourself proposed and seconded by two paid up club members (other than yourself) and submit this to the club Secretary, Sarah, prior to the meeting via email to secconcc@yahoo.com.
We would actively encourage participation on our committee from younger members to meet with our constitutional objectives as well as encouraging some to join who are not from a cricketing background and are able to offer an alternative viewpoint on club matters and beyond without the cricketing rose tinted spectacles on.
Posts that require persons to be nominated are as follows; President, Chair, Secretary, Treasurer, Fixtures Secretary, DPS/Licensee, Club Welfare Officer, Junior Development Officer, 1st X1 Captain, 1st X1 Vice-Captain, 2nd X1 Captain, 2nd X1 Vice-Captain, Academicals Captain and Academicals Vice-Captain.

In the event that more than one person submits an application for any given post, the final decision will be made via a democratic vote on he evening by those in attendance. Again, only bona fide members will be permitted to vote.
If there are any proposals for rule changes, rule amendments, constitutional amendments or constitutional changes, then they must be submitted no later than 13th November to the club Secretary. Club rules and Constitution can be viewed on the club website from the side menu.
An agenda for the meeting will be circulated in a timely manner prior to the meeting. Anyone who wishes to contribute anything for the AOB section of the meeting must inform the Secretary prior to the commencement of the meeting for it to be given consideration on the evening.
