Hello everyone, 

      Apologies to be the bearer of bad news but as the season is now well underway our treasurer has kindly reminded me that some of our 'members' have not yet paid their subscriptions for this season. As ever I take this opportunity to remind you that those playing having not paid their subs would not be covered by the club's insurance policies were any accidents to occur during games, practices or time using the club's facilities. Obviously we don't envisage this happening to anyone and would be horrified if it were to happen but I just thought I best make everyone aware of where they stand. Also as ever we run our club on a very tight budget and every penny counts when it comes to budgeting for things in the future. 

The cost of subscriptions for the coming season is as follows and remains the same as the previous couple of seasons;

Full Membership - £50 (or £40 if paid before May 31st) 
Junior/Student or Those not in full time employment (16 hours of less per week) - £7.50
Social Membership - £5
Vice Presidents Membership - £10

These can be paid to your team captains, team organisers or any of the official committee members who will happily pass them on to our treasurer. 

I also take time to remind you that in accordance with the club rules, members not paid up by this date are at the discretion of the selection committee not to be selected for teams for competitive fixtures until they are fully paid up. We really hope that they don't have to resort to this as selection can be a big enough headache for everyone concerned at the best of times. 

Just remember once you are a paid up member it then becomes YOUR club, not the club or the Chairman and Committees club. We all work together to make our club the success that it is and hope that this will continue for many years to come so please make sure you join up and are part of all of what is to come for the rest of this year and those further ahead.

Apologies to those of you who have already paid, you all know who you are but if you know someone who hasn't please give them a gentle nudge and make sure they don't miss out.
