Alan's Chairty Fundraiser - Information

29 Jul 2021

Hello everyone,

Hopefully we are going to see some sunshine tomorrow for the memorial match to take place which starts at 5.30! If the weather becomes an issue, there is no need to worry. Both the upstairs and downstairs bars and the marquee will be open for you to seek refuge. We have a DJ in the marquee from 7 and PiggyBlinders on site serving food from 5. Both bars are walk up service only and can accept both cash and card payments.

Please keep an eye out on the night for our raffle ticket sellers! These will be people from Alan's family and the more generous you are with your raffle ticket purchases, the more that they can donate to Macmillan and Foundation Of Light. Anyone unable to attend, you can get in touch with Alison Talbot or Andrew Waters to purchase advanced raffle tickets and they will advise you on how to get the money across to them. There will also be an auction at the end of the evening which includes prizes such as; A signed Mark Wood England shirt, A signed England shirt with the full ladies test squad, A signed Chris Rushworth Durham shirt, A signed Matty Potts Durham Shirt and 2 tickets for "An evening of Queen" at Emirates Riverside. There is an extensive list of raffle prizes all very kindly donated and these will be drawn on the evening!

The downstairs bar will cease service at 11pm with the DJ finishing at 10.30pm. Upstairs can remain open until last orders at 12.30am for anyone who wishes to do that final bit of catching up. We do ask that everyone respects our neighbours when leaving the club and keeps any noise to a minimum when heading off down Hope Street and on their way home. The car park will not be locked overnight so anyone wishing to leave their cars can do so and return on Saturday to collect them at their earliest convenience.

If anyone has any further questions then please don't hesitate to drop us a line, Both Alan's family and ourselves look forward to welcoming you all along.
