🏏 INTERNATIONAL CRICKET COMES TO BLACKFYNE 🏏

The 150th Anniversary celebrations continue on Sunday 9th August as a Consett Invitational X1 takes on a Sri Lankan select X1. 

For Consett there will be a selection of our own players mixed in with top players from around the North East including club professionals from around the leagues. The Sri Lanka X1 will be made up entirely of first-clas cricketers, some of whom have representative honours at national level. 

The day will start with a coaching clinic for U13 & U15 players before the match itself starts at 14.30.

Movin Legal have sponsored the day which has allowed one off kits to be purchased, a bouncy castle hired, raffles, music and stalls on the day. 

Food will be provided by Dinithi, an excellent local vendor who do nothing but the finest in Sri Lankan cuisine - https://www.instagram.com/dinithirestaurant?igsh=MXcyemNyeHUwMmlkdQ==  Davy’s Shed will also be open throughout to keep everyone refreshed. 

This promises to be a fantastic day for all of the family and cricket fans alike and it would be great to see you all down witnessing a very high standard of cricket.
