SEASON START UPDATE
Last night, we received confirmation from the NTCL that our league fixtures will commence on time, on Saturday 17th April!
The 1st X1 will host Ryton while the 2nd X1 travel to Tynemouth.
As a result of this, the 3rd X1 will begin their competitive fixtures on Sunday 2nd May. They do however have some friendlies lined up prior to this so keep an eye out for those.
TRAINING UPDATE
Training will be able to take place outdoors from 29th March, this will be based upon groups of no
more than 6 partaking in any one activity at a time. Your team captains are discussing schedules for training, but feel free to get in touch with them with any ideas.
All Stars will be commencing on Friday 7th May. Registrations for existing participants will be open from 16th March and for new participants from 22nd March. We will also provide updates in due course regarding junior training for our Under 9 and Under 11 teams as well as details of fixtures so please keep your eyes peeled.
BAR UPDATE
We are working towards being in a position to serve drinks on match days at the club and exploring the possibility of socially distanced outdoor events. We are aware that this is reliant upon the government roadmap and we will endeavour to provide updates in due course as well as setting out guidance for how we will make this work.
Not long to go and still so much to do, but we canβt wait to welcome you all back to Blackfyne next month!
