Practice Nights 2013/14 Close Season (Commencing 8th November)

08 Nov 2013

After evaluation of this year's early season performances it has been decided to start winter practices much earlier than normal.

They will be taking place on Friday evenings at 7.30pm (commencing FRIDAY 8TH NOVEMBER) in the sports hall at Consett Community College (Balckfyne School). They will be taking a structured form rather than the usual rabble of turn up and leave whenever you feel like it and just messing about in the nets. An effort will be made to improve all cricketing skills (including timekeeping) by having fully qualified coaches in attendance at the sessions. These sessions are aimed at ANYONE with aspirations to play senior cricket of any age right up to those currently involved with any of the Club's 3 senior teams and older junior teams. This is an ideal opportunity to learn from experienced coaches and also pick up tips from some senior members that you may not usually get the chance to play or train alongside and a chance for the senior members to help the development of themselves and others around them.

The cost per session will be £2.50 in order to cover the cost of the hire of the hall for the sessions. We sincerely hope that you will all take up this opportunity and help both yourselves and the club develop further and get back to where we should be mixing it at the top of the first divisions. We look forward to seeing you all there!!
