We are very pleased to announce that powerful all-rounder  Christopher Winn will be joining us at Blackfyne for the 2022 season. 28 year old Chris boasts 5,000 runs and 250 wickets from his senior career to date and will add a lot of depth to an already strong 1st X1.

Chris has had spells at Brandon, Washington, Murton, Hetton Lyons amd most recently played for neighbours Leadgate in 2021.

Anyone who watched a particular game at Leadgate this season will be aware of what he is capable of after he battered a 56 ball 133 against us… that knock is his career best score and adds to the ton he made against Morpeth in 2021 which saw him finish leading run scorer for the gators. He also has career best bowling figures of 6-28 so has a decent idea what to do with a cherry in hand as well as a piece of willow!

He will join his cousin, Robbie in the team meaning there’s family pride at stake for the top performer among the two!
